15-18 months (including Company Project & Assessment)

This is the perfect course and professional qualification for individuals taking on their first formal team leadership or management position, or indeed for individuals looking to estabilsh skills to move into a management position in the near future.

Explore technology project managements techniques (inc. agile projects), different leadership styles, developing stakeholder relationships and learn communications best practices from written report writing to group presentations.  You will navigate holding challenging conversations, providing constructive feedback and learn how to analyse data to support your decision making and general team leadership duties.

Develop your financial and budgeting techniques, methods to coach and motivate team members, legal requirements in employment, how to drive operational performance and many other useful skills to lead others.

Technical Departmental Manager (Level 5)

20 Months (including Company Project & Assessment)

Equal to a foundation degree, or Higher National Diploma level.

You will learn how to manage multiple technology biased teams and individuals, projects and budgets as well as how to manage remote teams and 3rd party suppliers, including how to build a high performing culture and team in technology orientated business areas.

We teach a mix of operational, team and project management skills as well as higher level finance and budgeting, different leadership styles, relationship building, communications methods and how to lead people and departments effectively. 

Upon completion, leaders can register as full members of the Chartered Management Institute.

Equal to the first year of a Masters Degree.

Learn how to set strategic direction in your role, provide vision and a clear sense of purpose to the organisation at the senior level.  Explore inclusive leadership, responding to change, big data and risk, crisis and major incident management.

This apprenticeship is aimed at senior managers who will, or are, taking on greater and greater levels of corporate responsibility (inc. Board membership).

Much more practical than a traditional MBA, this training is delivered by a multitude of specialists across many different management training disciplines.
