Introduction
This 21 month apprenticeship programme is designed for individuals working in a manufacturing environment in the Life Science sector and is aligned to the pharmaceutical industry covering topics such as GMP, ICHP and HACCP as well as key health and safety principles.
The course is designed for those looking to progress into manufacturing-based roles, or existing employees who would like to learn more about the theory behind what they do. A science manufacturing technician will operate the systems and equipment involved in the production of products within the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Core Modules
There a two routes in this apprenticeship focusing on either Applied Biology or Applied Chemistry which lead to accredited HNC qualifications.
Monthly on-the-job training & mentoring
In partnership with employers, we conduct regular one-to-one progress reviews with apprentices to monitor & validate continued learning of required skills & knowledge needed for their role.
Concluding with the end-point assessment gateway
When working at the required standard and backed by their own comprehensive portfolio, the apprentice undertakes a graded End Point Assessment (EPA), achieveing a Pass, Merit or Disctinction in their apprenticeship.
