Level 4 – AI and Automation
Practitioner ApprenticeshipÂ
Develop employees who can identify, design, and implement AI and automation solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, and digital workflows across your organisation.
Why this apprenticeship?
Identify and implement AI and automation solutions to improve business efficiency.
This programme helps organisations develop employees who can identify opportunities to improve efficiency through AI and automation. Apprentices gain the skills to analyse existing workflows, implement low- or no-code automation tools, and support the responsible use of AI across business processes.
By building internal capability, organisations can streamline operations, improve productivity, and support digital transformation while ensuring automation solutions are implemented securely, ethically, and in line with governance requirements.

HOW IT WORKS
The programme is delivered through a structured blend of online learning, practical application, and workplace projects, allowing apprentices to apply new skills directly within their role.
Months 0–15
Apprentices attend bi-monthly online learning sessions supported by one-to-one coaching every 10 weeks. During this time, learners complete modules, develop practical skills, and apply their knowledge through workplace-based projects.
Months 15–18
Apprentices prepare for their End Point Assessment (EPA), where they demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and behaviours developed throughout the programme.
The EPA includes the completion of a portfolio of evidence and a final assessment, confirming the apprentice has achieved the required occupational standard.
